    Route 5: Waterloo - Salisbury
       Add to basketBasket

Some difficult grades (for the Southern) as the mainline to Exeter climbs towards Salisbury. An eight track railway leaves Waterloo and you'll drive through Clapham Jc too (pictured left). After Basingstoke it's two tracks and that's when the climbing begins in earnest. As well as the old favourites of Classes 50 and 33 there's also class 73's and 442 emus, included for the Bournemouth line services which feature on this route as far as Basingstoke. Additional traction: 47/4, 47/7, 159.

    Route 6: Plymouth - Bristol
       Add to basketBasket

A much requested route which crawls up the Devon banks and then along the sea wall into Exeter. After that it's a flat race track all the way to Bristol, unless you're diverted via Weston-Super Mare for a station stop. This CD includes both the direct route and the diversion via the Weston loop (and schedules for both too). Also included are the Exeter local services calling at stations between Newton Abbot and Exeter, along that sea wall between Teignmouth and Dawlish (pictured left).

    Route 7: Settle - Carlisle
       Add to basketBasket

A much requested route which follows the 'long drag' across Ribblehead viaduct and Blea Moor tunnel to Aisgill Summit, 1160 ft above sea level, through England's most remote and beautiful railway scenery. Then it's a steady drop to Carlisle following the Eden Valley. Traction and timetables cover from the 1960s to the present day. From Peaks on Thames Clyde expresses to 40s to Sprinters, plus diverted West Coast expresses, HSTs and freights!

    Route 8: Swansea - Swindon
       Add to basketBasket

A difficult drive with lots of speeds restrictions, grades and station stops through industrialised South Wales, especially the heavily graded 4 mile long Severn Tunnel. Once into England there's a climb up to Badminton but after that it's 125 mph running all the way to Swindon and a chance to make up all that lost time. Traction includes: 35, 47, 50, 52, HST, 158.

    Route 9: Doncaster - Newcastle
       Add to basketBasket

Both the Selby and Selby diversion routes are included. It's a race track north of York weather you're driving a legendary Deltic or a modern day Class 91 Electra. Further north you'll be held up by various curves, speed restrictions and the station stops at Darlington and Durham before the crawl across the Tyne and into Newcastle Central. Trans - Pennine schedules are included too, which means that the traction list includes: 45, 46, 47, 55, HST, 90, 91 and 158.
